If you are someone who looks for experiences over “things”, you will understand that going to a 4DX movie is unlike any other movie experience you could possibly find. Plus, you get to see a brand new movie that just arrived in theaters at the same time – triple win! For you, the fact that that “ride” essentially lasts the whole movie and you never have to wait in line makes the 4DX an easy choice over other ride experiences that you get to enjoy for 1/120th of the time you spend waiting for them.
Imagine if Soarin’ lasted for 90+ minutes and you never had to wait in line – that is what a 4DX movie is like. If you are someone who loves rides like Soarin’ Over California at Disneyland and would spend time waiting in line to experience it, a 4DX movie is worth it and then some. So, the answer as to whether or not 4DX is worth it is….
I get that you want to know what you’re getting before you commit to purchase. I get it the cost of 4DX is higher than a traditional movie, which can already be pricey, especially when you’re buying tickets for a family. Since we’ve been talking about the movies a lot and sharing on social media, I’ve gotten tons of questions about whether or not the 4DX experience is worth it. Seeing the cinematography in brilliant detail while enjoying all that 4DX adds to the movie-going experience was incredible, and we were blown away. As with Toy Story 4, The Lion King was nothing short of amazing. Then, this week, we got to see The Lion King in 4DX at Regal Meridian. As you may remember, we saw our first 4DX movie last month when we got to see Toy Story 4 at Regal Meridian Theater in Seattle. All opinions and thoughts about whether 4DX movies are worth it are 100% ours. II Secondo Bacio (part of Oceanview Cafe) is a la carte-priced grab-and-go counter for specialty coffees and fresh-squeezed juices.We were given complimentary tickets to the screening of The Lion King to facilitate this post. Oceanview Cafe is Celebrity Cruises' signature buffet restaurant with live cooking stations and a bakery. "Destination Getaway" is Magic Carpet's dedicated embarkation point when the platform is positioned at its lowest level. When it stops on Deck 5, it serves as an alfresco dining appendix to the ship's main dining room restaurant. When it stops on Deck 14 (in front of the cabanas), it becomes a pool deck extension.
In the evenings, the Magic Carpet stops on Deck 16 to offer the "Dinner on the Edge" dining experience. Magic Carpet also serves as a tender embarkation area. The Magic Carpet lounge bar is mobile (like a large elevator), moving up and down 13 decks. It has capacity 90 seats and features comfortable seating, a full-service bar, stage for live music performances.
The starboard-located "Magic Carpet" is a glass-roofed, cantilevered platform designed as a panoramic outdoor venue. There are a total of 6 spacious cabanas available for rent and offering comfortable seating, high ceilings, amazing sea views. At night, the pool deck transforms into "deck party" area with live music and outdoor movies. The area is served with drinks by Pool Bar (outdoor poolside bar) and with fast food by Mast Grill. The midship-located Pool Deck (aka Resort Deck) is a resort-style sundeck featuring 2-story high glass walls, 1 large swimming pool (lap pool), sunbathing area (with premium chaise lounges facing out to the sea), outdoor theater (large LED screen), 6 oversized cabanas for rent (starboard). Solarium is an adults-only sundeck with 1 swimming pool and 2 jacuzzi whirlpools (hot tubs). Spa Cafe and Juice Bar (a la carte bar for healthy bites, smoothies, and fresh-squeezed juice during the day.) Treatment rooms are equipped with the latest-technology tables, including "WellMassage 4D" tables (by the German manufacturer Gharieni) and "MLW Amphibia" (Spa Wave system with water-filled cushions adapting to body's anatomy). The spa also features the first at sea "Kerastase Institute" (hair treatment lab).

Among the signature massages and treatments offered here (all ending with sound therapy) are Salt Stone Therapy, Color Therapy, Herbal Poultice Massage, Elemis 1000 Flower Detox Wrap, Elemis Biotec facials (8 skin therapies for anti-aging, brightening, pigmentation, and general skincare). The ship's SPA complex consists of Relaxation Room, 23 Treatment Rooms (served by 31 certified therapists), Changing Rooms, Beauty Salon, Barber Shop, Retail Shop (cosmetics and skincare products), Sea Thermal Suites (for couples).
